On the bright, stress is quite treatable. We may not be able to change our stressors, but we can a least do something about how we handle it.
The Mayo Clinic website tells us to find de-stressing activities such as tai chi and yoga. Walking and exercise is also a fantastic method to decrease overall stress. Recent studies have shown that moderate exercise has been known to be as effective as psychotropic medications for the treatment of moderate depression. What ever the stress, there seems to be an underlying theme, and that is to get moving.
