POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER (PTSD)

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD) is a characterized by ruminating thoughts, flashbacks, anxiety, nightmares, and intense fear. PTSD can be caused by anything that our minds perceive as a life threatening danger. Otherwise, it is called, Acute Stress Disorder. Either way, the treatment is the same.
Traditional treatment consists of many sessions of talk therapy or counseling. It is effective, but takes a very long time to treat using this method.
