PAIN MANAGEMENT AND HYPNOSIS
Hypnosis can used as natural treatment for pain management. It is a great adjunct to medicinal treatment to improve one's life. According to the Mayo Clinic, hypnosis is a valuable tool for patients exhibiting chronic pain to help alleviate and manage symptoms. The benefit of hypnosis teaches the individual how to relax and use the subconscious mind to stop the conscious mind from dwelling on what hurts. When undergoing hypnosis with me, I will teach you how to duplicate the session on your own. I encourage you to record the session, so the steps can practiced and eventually mastered. Since all hypnosis is self-hypnosis, this is quite easy to do.
Here is a list of pain symptoms that I have helped with hypnosis to date:
Neuropathy
Neck pain
Back Pain
Fibromyalgia
Migraines
Headaches
Pre/Post surgical pain
Dental Pain
Because I am a licensed therapist, health insurance is generally covered for my services. If I can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact me on my cell phone at 980-329-7231. If I do not answer the phone, that usually means that I am either in session, or put the phone down and did not get to it in time. So, please leave a message, and I will call you back.
